Members Report Trying Moments

Here is BB's recent brush with sugary treats

The thing that gets me is how sugar is jumping out at me, practically calling me by name and it's everywhere! Went to the vets, there is a canister of cookies to the right when you walk in and when you pay, now it's on your left but still in your peripheral vision, stopped off at the bank, suckers right there at the teller where I'm making a deposit. I'm sure she thought I had a tick as my eyes constantly ticked to the left to eye ball the candy, small red and purple suckers, white sticks I thought said "Becky's" but I was I believe in a delusional state of mind or I'm hearing voices, part of the sugar withdrawal I think. Good Lord, sugar is everywhere and it's looking for me but I remain strong so far...

I did talk to my vets about removing the cookies prior to my arrival and they said they would try to remember and help. But just in case, next time when I arrive I do plan to call them from the parking lot and ask that the cookies be removed, for the sake of all of us and for their own personal safety because I can not guarantee where this no sugar body will take me.

  1. Greetings, my sugar-free confederates!

Uncool Uncle here... The purpose of this posting is to illustrate my level of commitment to the sugar-free life-style. As part of this evening's repast, I ate crinkle-cut fries (baked AND gluten-free, of course) sans ketchup/catsup... SACRILEGE! Why, you might ask... Well, as it turns out, ketchup/catsup is full of the Devil's Delight (aka sugar). Must sugar-free also mean condiment-free?! Keep me in your prayers, brothers and sisters, and stay strong.
